To see Him who is Invisible …

The wonders of CREATION, its complexity and intricacy seem to clearly indicate a Being
… a Mind, a Source
For NOTHING ever comes from NOTHING    not.a.thing   no.thing
For SOMETHING has to come from SOME.THING  or from SOMEONE
Who ever heard of an Encyclopedia evolving, or a computer self-sourcing !!
To me, the theory of Evolution would take more Faith to accept than the acceptance of a Creator !
Any CREATION reasonably expects a CREATOR
Every DESIGN suggests a DESIGNER … what builder would construct an edifice without a set of plans to follow ?   and for a specific purpose ?
And so  ACCOUNTABILITY must surely follow.

Ahhh Ha … but to know HIM has been my dream since childhood
To  KNOW  the UN.KNOWABLE
To  TOUCH  the UN.TOUCHABLE
To find the CREATOR that is behind an awesome CREATION
Ahhh Ha … would be wondrous !
To thank Him for existence and being wonderfully and fearfully formed

The FATHER of SPIRITS I hear Him called ?
That we are also SPIRIT as well as Body and Soul / mind / intellect
But a Spirit can only be touched or known by ones own Spirit
To be spiritually born - RE.BORN - born from above is the Key
And then Scripture is UN.Locked
Another realm is discovered and can be explored.
Amid a fallen world and the human condition
The role of meditation ... and Scripture memorisation … marvellous !

David, the Shepherd boy, King … his words connect and resonate with my own thoughts, across the centuries
The thirst of his being for his God echos within my own

Saul, later Paul - his encounter on a lonely road with another realm - that wakened him to GRACE, and so stirred the Legalists against him.

The realisation ... that Jesus was born a Jew, and walked and talked and ministered among Jewry
Then the realisation that the LAW was given to Israel only for a certain period … a dispensation period from 1491 BC to 32 AD   some 1,500 years
That the OLD Testament should really include the 4 Gospels, each up to Calvary, the rending of the Temple vail,  and the cry of  'it is finished'

That TEACHING LAW DID NOT and DOES NOT NEED THE HOLY SPIRIT !!
(Now there's a profound realisation concerning legalism !)
The realisation that Legalism is a spiritual power  like any other, and needs dealing with accordingly, that religiosity is alive and well.

That Jesus went away so that the HOLY SPIRIT could come  John 16:7
That PENTECOST changed everything and ushered in the indwelling of the HOLY SPIRIT
through a BAPTISM even more real than that of water
That the HOLY SPIRIT is a person, a fully-orbed personality, who comes upon, indwells within, an abiding presence, anointing, teaching, quickening, guiding, uniting us to the vine, bringing gifts and fruit, with liberty and joy.
Someone who can think,  who can feel,  who works in the world.
With us, in us, for us.      A friend - my wife calls Him her best friend.

That Peter's vision of the great SHEET opened the door to US GENTILES
That as GENTILES we need to capture the basic message of GRACE of the NEW TESTAMENT before we delve back into the treasures of the OLD TESTAMENT
Otherwise we mingle and mix LAW with GRACE to our detriment

That I am LOVED, ACCEPTED FORGIVEN …. totally, warts and all

That my SINS, SALVATION, & FORGIVENESS   were all dealt with   at CALVARY

That GOD is a loving and benevolent Father, Saviour, Lord
JESUS is a loving brother, SAVIOUR slain from the foundation of the world – timeless
the HOLY SPIRIT is the Paraclete – helper, abiding, guiding, communicating, within …. wondrous …. WOW

To KNOW and to be KNOWN ... awesome, incredible !

To find my own IDENTITY in CHRIST and the security it brings
To become aware of my own personal CALLING and Mission in Life
To be satisfied with an un-satisfied satisfaction

That Death has NO STING, that the door of immortality embraces believers
That TIME is only relevant to our planet and the natural order
That the PAST, the PRESENT, and the FUTURE are all the same to the Eternal One, viewed together, compacted, simultaneous

To REST IN HIM ... who is the beginning and the end

At PEACE with God,  with most other people    and with MY SELF.

AWAKENED, RECONCILED,  REDEEMED,  and KEPT until that day
