Why the title …… EYESALVE ?

Well, it is referred to in Revelation 3 : Anoint your eyes with EYESALVE that you might see

And just what is this Eyesalve ?
It is the old term for an ancient eye ointment that opticians, optometrists and ophthalmic specialists used to open eyes that were shut through a physical condition

As for the natural …… so for the spiritual
And the Apostle Johns advice for each of us to apply this ointment to our own eyes

To open our spiritual eyes, that we might have full spiritual sight and understanding.
To clearly see the spiritual state of the Present Religious System and our particular time in history.

Which leads us into the reason for this site ……….

It is for those ………..

• Who have tired of, and have become disappointed with “religion”,
  
• and institutional denominations and Churches (or who are getting that way !)
  
• who are finding that many Religious “performances” and “performers” can leave you feeling unsatisfied
• Who are wondering if there is a satisfying Christian experience outside of attending an institutional type Church
• Who have made the step of leaving an institutional type Church, and are wondering – where to from here ?

Can I really be a follower of Jesus outside of the “Present Religious System” ?

Who are seeking and searching for real fellowship that satisfies, and are willing to try out for such at small home group meetings locally

One couple have made this transition path, after 25 long years in a “holiness” but very legalistic type Church, then a decade of searching the local Church scene, then finding a local group of like-minded pilgrims prepared to know and be known and enjoy true fellowship, and finally discovering something of Gods real but largely un-noticed, network of believers both locally and worldwide.

So, what is a New Testament Church anyways ??
