CREATION  & a CREATOR ?

How I love the recent spate of nature programes on TV and the incredible photography of our planet and its animal life,  including some amazing microscopic footage of the insect world !

But what puzzles me is that some scientists and presenters  such as Sir Richard Attenborough cant accept a Creator, but still hold to the theory of evolution and natural selection.

When I consider our planet, and some incredible basic facts :

the distance of Earth from the Sun ….  just enough to give us an ideal temperature
any further away   and we would freeze up      any closer  and we would burn up

the precise tilt of the planet to give us seasons

the distance of the moon from earth to give us tides  twice a day

water … that scientists can only conjecture where it came from
the fact that ice floats,    or the seas would otherwise freeze

the interdependence of plant life, insect life and the animal kingdom
etc etc etc etc etc etc

the wonder of it all  !           all by chance ??     give me a break  !

and then there's the Universe !      and the size of it all
and that we are reminded of it each night … every 24 hours it's there … for us to observe and ponder  where we came from  and our place in the scheme of things

so I have reached some sort of a conclusion … that the Evolutionists basic problem is with the simple fact that creation demands a Creator  and if so ... then we are all ACCOUNTABLE!      and that identifies their real stumbling block
Which then brings us to another major problem  …  SIN   and a fallen world.
And the root of their problem which seems to me to be  philosophical   … or rather   theological

And so,  for the Bible in Schools progamme in our local Primary Schools, I made some notes, that maybe of interest ..  over several decades now I have presented and discussed these with children (and at their School Assemblies) who don't seem to have problem with them at all

Betelgeus in Orion its size = the entire orbit of the Earth going around the Sun
could fit inside it   …    now that's  BIGGGGG
Sirius                   the brightest star visible
Canopus               the 2nd brightest star visible
Our nearest star  Alpha Centuri  is 4 Light Years distance away

Light across the Milky Way     1,000 Light Years across
Light                     300,000 Km per second
10 million million Km per year = 1 Light Year

The whole Universe is expanding at 90% the speed of light

A scientist said  that there probably are  as many stars  as there are grains of sand on  ALL THE BEACHES   in ALL THE  WORLD !    try and imagine that !

He (God)  tells the numbers of the stars, He calls them all by names                                                                                              Psalm 147 : 4    

When I survey the heavens – the work of your hands, the sun, moon and stars …. what is man that you are mindful of him, or the son of man that you visited him   Oh Jehovah, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth                                                                                                Psalm 8

our UNIVERSE        our PLANET             our bodies                 our GOD        awesome !

the UNIVERSE   &  all CREATION

so   WHERE HAS IT ALL COME FROM  ? ?        
Let's  T H I N K  about it

Something  has to come from  Something   
Nothing  ever comes from  Nothing

CHAOS   does not produce  COMPLEXITY
COMPLEXITY  can not come from  CHAOS

CREATION  demands that there be a  CREATOR

EVOLUTION ???
Who ever heard of a COMPUTER  evolving ?      just ask Bill Gates !
behind a watch   ….   there has to be a WATCHMAKER  somewhere
behind every creation    there would have to be an creator
each wondrous design    would suggest a designer
behind any intricate and complex object   there must needs be an intelligence

EVOLUTION     and Natural Selection  YES   but only WITHIN SPECIES  
not  ACROSS species
Species will only evolve  within a species  to adapt to a particular environment
(A mule is a cross between a horse and a donkey, but it cannot reproduce itself)

The  MISSING LINK   of evolution   between species   is still missing  !
The Piltdown Man  and the others  of the early 20th Century   were all eventually confessed and exposed as being colossal HOAXES

All by  CHANCE  ?   so where are the  billions of mistakes  ?
if they all died off   why is there no skeleton evidence of any of them ?

CHANCE  … there's as much chance   as an explosion in a printing shop
producing the  English Dictionary   or todays newspaper !

COMPLEXITY  never comes from CHANCE occurrence, even given unlimited time

NATURE  abhors a vacuum  

The 'BIG BANG ' theory ? 
so … who or what provided the spark to ignite it all?
